COLUMBUS, Ind. — Eastern Bartholomew Water says another utility company has hit one of the company’s main customers in or near the Wayne Township area between East County Road 550South to East County Road 650S. Customers in this area are experiencing low pressure or a water outage. This does include the Waynesville area on State Road 11. Water service may be interrupted for four to six hours while this repair is taking place. Once water service is restored, customers will be under a boil water advisory until Wednesday at noon. Any water that is to be consumed, customers are asked to bring the water to a rolling boil for at least 5 minutes and allow it to cool before consuming.
