Connie Fay Dixon

Connie Fay Dixon, 76, of Columbus passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. She was born January 23, 1949, in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Wallace and Hollis (Mason) Boyles.

Connie was known for her sunny personality and her beautiful smile. She had been an avid bowler and bowled in several leagues in Columbus. She loved to travel – both in the United States and throughout Europe – with Ireland holding a special place in her heart. She enjoyed camping, birdwatching, and sharing her famous Christmas cookies and candy with family and friends.

After high school, Connie attended Campbell Business School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She then spent a career as an administrative assistant, working at Proctor and Gamble in Cincinnati and Irwin Union Bank in Columbus. She was known by her coworkers for her cheerfulness, dedication and kindness.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Danny Dixon of Columbus, IN; brother, Russell Boyles of Lawrenceburg, IN; sister, Vicki (Terry) Stephens of Guilford, IN; nephew, Corey (Chance) Stephens; nieces, Miranda (Dylan) Chase and Megan (Parker) Gillespie; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brecken Stephens, Vaylyn Stephens, Crew Gillespie, Cain Gillespie, and Blake Gillespie.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Melvin and Patrice.

A visitation and service were held earlier and Connie was laid to rest at Greendale Cemetery, Greendale, Indiana.
