Myers Joins Central Loan Committee

Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation (ISCDC), the state’s leading provider of U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loans, has announced the appointment of Jon A. Myers to its Central Loan Committee.

A lifelong Columbus resident, Myers serves as vice president of small business at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC), and serves as state director of the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC). He brings more than two decades of experience in business leadership, entrepreneurship, and small business development to his new role with ISCDC.

Before joining the IEDC, Myers served as a business advisor and regional director for the Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center, where he helped entrepreneurs launch and grow their ventures. An entrepreneur himself, he founded and owned Power House Brewing Company in downtown Columbus.

“We’re delighted to welcome Jon to our Central Loan Committee,” said Jean Wojtowicz, executive director of Indiana Statewide CDC. “His combination of public- and private-sector experience, along with his first-hand understanding of small business ownership, will add tremendous insight to our mission of expanding access to affordable capital for Indiana entrepreneurs.”
