The Hope FFA chapter sponsored its third annual cupcake drive during the annual Hope Homes Tour. Visitors enjoyed homemade cupcakes while seeing historical homes, Christmas lights and decorations around Hope.
2000
Columbus’ annual Festival of Lights Parade marched on despite cold conditions, which included a bagpipe band from Louisville Fire Department, Jennings County, Columbus North and East high school bands.

Dr. William R. Laws and the late Benjamin M. (Mickey) King were honored by the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce for their contributions to the community in the humanities field during the Chamber’s annual meeting a Columbus East High School.
