Mridula Muthukumaran
SEYMOUR — Seymour swept a swimming dual meet from Columbus North Thursday, winning the boys meet 122-64 and the girls meet 124-56.
Mridula Muthukumaran led the Bull Frog girls with wins in the 200-yard individual medley (2 minutes, 15,74 seconds) and 100 butterfly (1:01.34). Cora Tregoning finished second in both the 500 freestyle (5:46.08) and 100 breaststroke (1:20.01).
For the boys, Eli McIntier won the 50 freestyle (25.08)m and Dagan Kleffman (255.50) and Gary Streeval (200.85) went 1-2 in the diving competition. Aarush Mahato won the 100 butterfly (57.61) and took second in the 200 IM (2:20.88). Isaac Niewedde was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.44).
North coach Mike Cunningham said the Bull Frog swimmers combined for 40 season-best times.
