Secret Lives of Buildings – Sharing and Creating Memories for the Holidays — noon to 1 p.m., online only. Join Sarah Marsom for a virtual workshop on celebrating and sharing your family memories this holiday season. Register on the Bartholomew County Public Library website.

Teen Art Day — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Create art with the assorted supplies in the Teen Room. Register on the library website.

The 2025 Open Door Tour – Homes for the Holidays — 4 to 9 p.m., various locations. Tour eight homes, three churches, the Columbus Area Visitors Center and the Bartholomew County Historical Society, all decked out for the holidays. Special music presentations will occur at each church throughout the evening. Cost is $30. Tickets can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com or at the Historical Society, Viewpoint Books and Columbus Area Visitors Center. Guests 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult and must purchase a ticket. Children 12 and under are free. This is a self-guided walking tour with limitations on accessibility at most locations.

Christmas of Yesteryear — 5 to 8 p.m., Hope Town Square, 635 Harrison St., Hope. The Yellow Trail Museum and Main Street of Hope will present the annual Christmas of Yesteryear event, which will include a bake sale, cookie decorating, crafts, downtown merchants, United Methodist Church tours, roving carolers, a visit from Santa, a live nativity at the shelterhouse and historic character sketches at WILLow LeaVes of Hope. All proceeds from the bake sale will benefit the Yellow Trail Museum and fund future programs.

The Gift of the Nativity — 5 to 8 p.m., Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4850 W. Goeller Blvd., Columbus. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will present the third annual “The Gift of the Nativity,” an exhibit of over 200 unique Christmas nativities created by artists locally and from around the world. The exhibit is free and open to the public, and is non-denominational.
