JEFFERSONVILLE — The Columbus East boys wrestlers went 5-0 Saturday to win the Jeffersonville Duals.
The Olympians beat East Central 56-16, Jennings County 63-16, Floyd Central 42-33, Jeffersonville 71-6 and Madison 63-9.
Gage Pacek (120 pounds), Ethan Poling (132), Caleb Cooper (157), Lincoln Cooper (175) and Hank Redman (285) all went 5-0 for East. Joel Smith (106), Kohl Dorrough (113), Cam Cooper (144), Caleb Kirkpatrick (150), Colin McMahon (190) and Clayton Miller (215) all went 4-1 and Brian Findley (138) went 3-2.
Jennings County competed both Friday night and Saturday and went 1-6. The Panthers fell to Floyd Central 71-6 and Madison 39-34, beat Jeffersonville 58-18 and lost to East, Mt. Vernon 40-24, East Central 58-23 and Heritage Hills 60-16.
Luke Kirchner (136) went 6-1 for Jennings. Gomie Gomez (215) went 6-2, and Carter Mikela (113) went 4-3.
