INDIANAPOLIS — The Columbus East wrestlers got in three rounds and won all three of their of matches in the Perry Meridian Falcon Duals Saturday before teams were sent home because of inclement weather.
The Olympians beat Carmel Varsity-2 66-10, Carmel Varsity-1 56-13 and Evansville North 72-6.
Joel Smith (106 pounds), Kohl Dorrough (113), Ethan Poling (132), Cam Cooper (144), Caleb Kirkpatrick (150), Aiden Miller (165), Lincoln Cooper (175), Colin McMahon (190), Clayton Miller (215) and Hank Redman (285) all went 3-0 for East. Caleb Cooper went 2-0 and Mason Eubanks 1-0 at 157, and Ty Brueche went 2-1 at 126.
The Olympians’ Varsity-2 fell to Carmel Varsity-2 32-28. Winners for East were Ethan Gilley, Henry Eickmeier, Jayden Dehart, Wyatt Behnke, Colton Foster and Austin Ruse.
