FORT WAYNE — IU Columbus played even with St. Francis in the second half Tuesday, but couldn’t overcome a 10-point halftime deficit in a 96-86 defeat.
Trevin Lieck led the Crimson Pride (2-10) with 23 points. Kyan Reichhoff scored 17 points; Jermayn Baxter had 15 points; Damontae Thompson added 14 points, six assists and four steals and Jayden Broadnax chipped in seven points and nine rebounds.
IUC visits Lourdes Dec. 30 before returning home to play Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Jan. 3.
