Centra Credit Union recently supported eight local nonprofits in the Bartholomew County area with $4,000 in donations as part of the Centra Foundation’s Pay It Forward campaign. Pay It Forward empowers Centra employees to lead mini-service projects in groups that support local nonprofits.
The following nonprofit organizations serving Bartholomew County were supported as partof Pay It Forward:
- Foundation for Youth
- Ivy Tech Food Pantry
- Lincoln Central Neighborhood Family Center
- Love Chapel
- McDowell Education Center
- Turning Point Domestic Violence Services
- Soups for Souls
- Students’ Fund of Hope
In the fourth quarter of 2025, 135 Centra team members volunteered their time, and a total of $10,000 went back into the communities Centra serves.
Thanks to Centra’s success in 2024, the Credit Union was able to provide an additional $166,000 to the Centra Foundation. The Foundation then allocated a total of $30,000 across 60 teams in 2025 to “pay it forward” in the Communities Centra serves. For more details, visit Centra.org.
