The IHSAA has determined the sectional host sites for the spring sports seasons with the exception of baseball at the executive meeting earlier this month.
Columbus East and Columbus North will play in a Class 4A softball sectional at Whiteland. Hauser will play in a Class A softball sectional at Rising Sun. The winners of those sectionals will host a regional game.
The Class 4A southern semistate will play at Bedford North Lawrence, and the Class A southern semistate will move from North Daviess to Brown County. The state finals for all four classes will be at Bittinger Stadium on the campus of Purdue.
East and North will play in a boys volleyball sectional at Shelbyville. The regional is at Perry Meridian with the state finals at a site that is to be determined.
East, North and Hauser will compete in a boys golf sectional at Greensburg, a girls tennis sectional and the boys and girls track and field sectional at North.
A major change to the girls tennis regional is that it will be hosted by Bedford North Lawrence. The semistate round will stay at Center Grove with the state finals at North Central.
Bloomington North will host the girls and boys track regional with the state finals at North Central. The boys golf regional site remains at Champions Pointe and the state finals at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel.
East and North will compete in a Unified track and field sectional at Bedford North Lawrence with the regional at Franklin and state final at North Central.
East boys basketball reschedules games
The Columbus East boys basketball games that were postponed Dec. 12 and 13 because of the winter storm have been rescheduled.
The Olympians will host sectional foe Franklin on Jan. 6, and travel to take on Hoosier Hills Conference foe Bedford North Lawrence on Jan. 9. Both will be 7:30 p.m. varsity tip.
