OWENSBORO, Ky. — IU Columbus led 16-15 after one quarter Tuesday, but Brescia went on to hand the Crimson Pride an 86-63 River States Conference women’s basketball defeat.
Abby Fleetwood led IUC (4-11, 2-1) with 20 points, four rebounds, five assists and seven steals. Columbus North graduate Hadassah Hurt scored 13 points, and Amaya Collins and Brooklyn McConnell each added 10 points.
The Crimson Pride return home to host Shawnee State at 1 p.m. Saturday.
