NORTH VERNON — Columbus North jumped out to an early 23-0 lead Tuesday and went on to post a 44-32 boys wrestling victory at Jennings County.

Cohen Long started the match with a pin at 150 pounds for the Bull Dogs. North’s Levi Tobias (165), Darrell Hicks (175) and Servando Lozano (285) also won by pin, and Alex Stahley (106) won by forfiet.

The Bull Dogs’ James Scruggs (157) and Sam Bosley (120) won by tech fall. James Scruggs (157) won a major decision.

Carter Mikels (113), Gage McClure (126), Kyhcen Sutton (132) and Luke Kirchner (138) won by pin for the Panthers. Gomie Gomez (215) won a tech fall, and Brady Franks (144) won by decision.
