Amy Lynn Thayer has filled a petition requesting that her name be changed to Amy Rooks Harrell. This matter was transferred to Bartholomew Circuit Court on December 12, 2025. The Court, being duly advised, finds that Publication was completed for this matter and publicized in Brown County newspaper, BC Democrat. The Court finds that due to Petitioner living in Bartholomew County and this being the reason for the transfer from Brown Circuit Court to Bartholomew Circuit Court, publication will need to be ran in Bartholomew County with the Bartholomew County cause number. IT IS THERFORE ORDERED that the hearing on the matter of the Verified Petition for Change of Name scheduled for January 7, 2026, will be reset to March 17, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. in Bartholomew Circuit Court, setting aside fifteen (15) minutes on the Court’s calendar.
