29th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Breakfast — 8 to 10 a.m., The Commons, 300 Washington St., Columbus. The African American Pastors Alliance will present the 29th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day breakfast and program with keynote speaker Whittney Wood-Gaines, BCSC special education teacher. The theme of this year’s program is “I Am My Brother’s Keeper.” Free admission.
Flow Yoga — noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff for a one-hour session with certified yoga instructor Sonia Aponte. This class will focus on a smooth, continuous flow of movements linked to the breath to help achieve a mind/body balance.
Teen Volunteer Day — noon to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Observe MLK Jr. Day by helping out around the Teen Area at the library. Tasks will include wiping down furniture, making seed packets, decorating the Teen Area, and prepping boxes for the Teen Book Box. Register on the library website.
Pokémon Club — 4 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Card collectors, trainers, gamers, and fans are all welcome to join as you learn and talk about all things Pokémon.
Family Storytime — 6 to 6:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff for Family Storytime in the Children’s Programming Room.
Columbus Viewfinders — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Learn about different photography topics and share what you know. Minimal annual dues involved after one to two meetings.
NAMI Family-to-Family — 6 to 8:30 p.m., United Way Building, 1531 13th St., Columbus. NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session education program for family, friends and significant others of adults with mental health conditions, and provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other conditions.
