OAKLAND CITY — IUC was tied with Oakland City 36-36 at halftime Wednesday, but the Oaks pulled away for an 87-71 River States Conference men’s basketball victory.
Trevin Lieck led the Crimson Pride (2-19, 0-9) with 17 points and six rebounds. Damontae Thompson had 13 points, six rebounds, four assists an two steals; Kyan Reichhoff added 13 points and four assists, Airrion Boyd finished with nine points and six rebounds and LaRenzo Hopkins finished with eight points and four assists.
IUC will visit IU East Saturday and Brescia Tuesday before returning home to host West Virginia Tech for senior day Feb. 7.
