Columbus Star Quilters — 9:30 a.m., First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. After a short business meeting, there will be four demonstrations that will bring the experienced and new quilter “Back to Basics.”

Library Babies — 10 to 10:30 a.m., 10:35 to 11 a.m. and 11:05 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Register on the library website.

Tween Game Time — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Stop by after school and join library staff for some laid-back fun as you play your way through the library’s collection of board, card, and dice games. Game selection may vary.

Teen Game Day — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Learn to play new games and enjoy older ones in this afterschool games club. Play an assortment of board games and card games, and enjoy games on the new gaming PCs and arcade machine. Register on the library website.

First Thursdays Downtown — 4 to 8 p.m., Bespoke Events + Experiences, 412 Washington St., Columbus. Bespoke Events + Experiences is partnering with Black History Columbus to spotlight a number of local Black-owned businesses. These vendors will join the celebration, bringing their offerings and energy to spread awareness and celebrate diversity in entrepreneurship.

First Thursday Film Club — 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff on the first Thursday of each month for a curated screening of classic, art, and international films. This month, watch “The Princess Bride.”
