NEW ALBANY — New Albany jumped out to a 48-24 halftime lead Saturday afternoon and went on to hand Columbus East an 81-55 Hoosier Hills Conference boys basketball defeat.
Carter Patterson returned to lead the Olympians (6-9, 1-3) with 23 points after missing the past four weeks with an injury. Keaton Lawson and Logan Neal each added seven points.
