Columbus North’s girls basketball team defeated Indianapolis Roncalli 55-48 to win the Class 4A Richmond Semistate. The Bull Dogs were one win away from another state championship title for the second year in a row.

Eight Columbus North High School students, Sydney Hatton, Ken Yasui, Alex Clerk, Kei Sato, Steve Schappler, Casey Cole, Cam Collins and Tim Woodbridge, were selected to perform in the Indiana All-State Band at the Indiana University Music Arts Center.
