President Donald Trump has complete control of our government because the Republican-controlled Congress failed to do its Constitutional duty to stop him.
Trump’s main focus after becoming president was to help big corporations and the rich like him to become richer while the majority of the population struggles to stretch their paycheck to pay their bills.
He has also alienated all our allied countries around the world with his tariff policy.
Today there are many in our work force who may lose their job due to the advance of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This is a method that has the capability to be a computational system that can perform tasks typically associated with human intelligence such as learning, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making. This definition of AI shows how easy it would be for AI to replace human workers. It is critical now that the government, the economists, and the business community come together and try to develop a plan that can slow the spread of AI and help the worker.
These companies planning to use AI will have to spend huge amounts of money on energy and infrastructure in order to covert some of their business to AI. But these companies will now get a big tax break for all the money they had to spend on AI. The IRS has stated that all these expenses can be a legal tax deduction when filing their tax return.
With the amount of expenses being so large and now being allowed to be deductible on their tax return, a portion of their paid expenses can now be converted to profit.This is just another huge benefit for the super rich to become richer.
Trump has projects on the side that has enriched himself by $2 billion during his first year as president. The standard of living in America is rapidly declining with Trump’s policies being a major reason.
It is no surprise that he denies to help our people who need it the most —- our senior citizens. Trump has no empathy. His policies are making it impossible for these senior citizens to live comfortable in their remaining years. He has refused to renew the Obama healthcare subsidies that allow our seniors to receive their needed medicine. And without these subsidies, many seniors could not afford to have housing.
Today there are many families struggling to buy enough food to feed their family. Trump has made it difficult for the needy to receive SNAP benefits. This is a program that provides food that will allow low-income individuals to have sufficient food.
America is the richest country in the world. But most of that wealth is just concentrated among a select few. The Republican-controlled Congress has the power to stop Trump. It’s past time for them to stand up and do their Constitutional duty.
