JENNINGS COUNTY — The Jennings County Historical Society is hosting a former president of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame for a March Madness event.
Before Donna Sullivan was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, she served as the Seymour High School girls basketball coach from 1970 to 2001. During her time as a coach, Sullivan became one of the driving forces behind implementing Title IX in Indiana. Once a part of the Hall of Fame, she pushed for the addition of the new Title IX and Women’s Basketball exhibitions at the museum.
Sullivan will be presenting on Jennings County basketball history and Hall of Famers on March 8 at 3 p.m. in the Vernon Gym in Vernon.
