CANstruction teams and the public donated a record of 38,012 cans of food to three local food banks, beating the former record of 36,700 cans. Structures built from the canned foods were displayed at the Fair Oaks Mall.

More than 150 dancers and volunteers filled the Foundation For Youth gymnasium during the second annual Turning Point Dance Marathon. The theme for the 12-hour dance was “Stayin’ Alive.”
