Columbus Area Career Connection electronics instructor Mike Riley was honored as the 2016 recipient of the Edna V. Folger Outstanding Teacher Award during the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting.

Columbus North High School began offering a scuba class to physical education students, which taught them the introductory fundamentals of scuba diving.

A pair of white swans appeared in the Sandy Hook addition lagoon, which swam close to the shore for pictures and snacks from onlookers. The swans were both wearing identification bands.
