According to the event listing, thousands of United Way of Bartholomew County’s neighbors look to them for support as they navigate challenges and work toward brighter horizons. United Way of Bartholomew County unites the social services sector, including their certified agencies, to help remove barriers and create pathways for people to thrive.

Through collaboration with nonprofit organizations, government agencies and local businesses, United Way coordinates efforts across the social services sector to address the root causes of poverty and homelessness. By aligning resources and applying proven strategies from communities nationwide, the initiative helps families achieve stability while working towards long-term self-sufficiency, the release says.

The annual meeting will celebrate the progress made through these partnerships and recognize the organizations, businesses and community members whose work is driving that impact.
