David Lee Holcomb, 81, of Michigan City, IN passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at NWIN Hospital in LaPorte, IN.
Dave was born September 23, 1944 at Camp Atterbury, IN to the late Horace and Clara (Cheek) Holcomb.
He is preceded in death by his wife Sandra (Beasley) Holcomb brothers, Horace Jr. and Harold.
Surviving is one daughter, Dee Dee Lynn (Joe) Haddad; one son, Christopher Michael (Cassie) Holcomb; three grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one sister, Phyllis Holcomb; two brothers, Larry Holcomb and John Holcomb; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Dave was employed by Cummins Engine retiring after 40 years of service.
He was a proud US Army Veteran serving his nation in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed golfing (having achieved four holes in one in his lifetime) He was a kind soul who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held at a future date near Columbus, Indiana.
