Berniece Clark

FRENCH LICK

Berniece Clark, 97, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on March 7th, 2026.

She was born in French Lick, Indiana on December 6th, 1928 to Irven Tilden and Ethel (Qualkinbush) Cox.

Berniece married William Earl Clark on April 30th, 1944 and he preceded her in death March 10th, 1999.

She was also preceded in death by her Parents, Son – William Clark, Jr.; Daughter – Betty Jo Fair; Brothers – Irven Banks, Willard Philip, Billie, Alva, and Coy Cox; and Sister – Evelyn Phyllis Rawlings.

Berniece was a member of Beechwood Christian Church, a 74-year member of the Order of Eastern Star and attended Syria Christian Church.

She grew up on the family farm and continued to farm alongside her husband while raising their family.

Berniece enjoyed sewing, needle work, reading and being with her family and friends.

She is survived by:

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13th, 2026 at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12th, 2026, and on Friday, March 13th, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

A ceremony by the Order of Eastern Star will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12th, 2026.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Ames Chapel Cemetery, c/o Connie Kerby, 2225 N. County Road 575 W, West Baden Springs, IN 47469.
