NORTH VERNON — Audrey McDonald and Arian Day combined on a no-hitter Thursday to lead Jennings County to its third win in as many days to open the season, a 7-1 victory against Henryville.
Maycie Ward went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, and Day went 3 for 4 at the plate to lead a 14-hit attack for the Panthers (3-0). Marlee Elston went 2 for 3 with a double, Riley Byford went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and Ryleigh Sporleder went 2 for 4.
