Joseph Darryl (“Darryl”) Ridgley, 69, of Dacula, GA, formerly of Columbus, died on Thursday, February 26, 2026 in Braselton, Ga. He was born in Columbus on November 22,1956 to Joseph Paul and Ruth M. Ridgley. He graduated from Columbus East High School in 1975 and later graduated from Indiana University. While at IU, Darryl was a member of the Marching One Hundred.
Darryl is survived by three sons; Drew (Tammy) Ridgley, Maxwell (“Max”) Ridgley, Samuel (“Sam”) Ridgley and a granddaughter, Luna Ridgley.
Darryl was a member of First Christian Church (Columbus). Graveside service will be held in Garland Brook Cemetery, at his parents’ gravesite near the Open Bible, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026 with Ron Bridgewater officiating. Friends Welcome.
