Jazz at Helen’s alum Steve Allee and his BAHA quartet will return to Helen Haddad Hall May 2 for the final performance of the 2025 spring season. Allee, a well-established composer, arranger and musician, will be bringing some of his original works and some all-time classics from the Great American Songbook for the show.

The Lasting Impressions performing troupe is back with a new spring production entitled “Love in the Springtime.”

Columbus East High School auditorium director Kevin Welsh recalled that George Orwell’s book “Animal Farm” was one of the first stories that had an effect on him. Years later, he and several student actors are bringing that story to the stage for Columbus East High School’s spring production.
