Art imitates life on “The Anonymous” (11 p.m., USA, TV-14), a new game show and “social experiment.” Participating players interact in two realms. In one, they speak to each other face-to-face and in the other, they share gossip, snark and “shade” behind a secretive handle. Players try to evade eviction without revealing their secret identities.

Television continues to change, but constants endure. A hit show will always change the trajectory of programming and spawn imitators good and bad, sometimes for years on end.

Netflix streams the 2024 thriller “The Union.” It’s the kind of film that may have gotten a theatrical release back in the day. Mark Wahlberg stars as Mike, a regular Jersey guy and construction worker who just so happens to meet his old high school girlfriend Roxanne (Halle Berry) in a bar, where they discuss just what’s happened in the 25 years since prom and graduation day.

“Bel-Air,” a reboot of the 1990s favorite and the series that helped launch Will Smith’s career, returns for a third season on Peacock.

North Vernon novelist and Columbus instructor Elisabeth A. Hegmann is a finalist for a Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award, which honor the best books written by Hoosier authors in the past two years. The awards “celebrate Indiana writers, and shine a light on the Hoosier State’s literary community and deepen connections between Indiana writers and readers,” according to organizers.

“A Boston (R)evolution” (9 p.m., PBS, TV-PG, check local listings) examines a city coming to terms with its history after the election of Michelle Wu, the first woman of color to become Boston mayor, after centuries of white men holding the office.
