Legal Advertisement NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED RATES AND CHARGES Property owners, ratepayers, and other interested parties in or served or to be served by the sewage works of the Town of Hartsville, Indiana (“Town”), are hereby notified that an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1, 2023 establishing sewage works rates and charges for the services to be rendered by the utility was introduced at a meeting of the Town Council held on March 2, 2026 (“Ordinance”). This fee is deemed reasonable and necessary to fund the repair, replacement, operation, and maintenance of the Town’s storm water system. For purposes of assessing the Storm Water Utility user fee, all properties within the Town shall be classified as one of the following with the associated rates: (a) Residential Property: Any lot or parcel containing up to four (4) dwelling units. Residential Property shall be charged a monthly flat fee of $5.00.
