The Bartholomew County Democratic Party will host a fall dinner with guest speaker Beau Bayh on Oct. 17 at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds pavilion. Beau Bayh is the grandson of former U.S. Sen. Birch Bayh and the son of former Indiana Gov. and U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh. The younger Bayh is a Harvard University law graduate and a Marine Corps captain and has also completed a clerkship for a federal judge.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the dinner at 6:30 p.m.

The menu will include lemon herb chicken, pea basil pesto pasta, vanilla mint lime fruit salad, macaroni and cheese, green salad with house ranch and vinaigrette, roasted veggies, bread and butter.

Students can enter and eat for free. Adult students are asked to bring an ID.
