The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District will host an Earth Day celebration including educational displays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., a reuse activity from 10 a.m. to noon, a plant swap and tree giveaway from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and a hot dog roast from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Amnesty waste including refrigerant-containing appliances, gas tanks and tires will be collected from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for no charge. TVs and computer monitors will be collected for $20 each.

Document shredding will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.
