Join the Jennings County Historical Society for its Annual Meeting at the historical society’s North American House Museum in Vernon.
The afternoon includes a pitch-in dinner (meat, drink, and table service provided) and features a presentation by Sue Livers, Black History Historian and first-person interpreter, the first of a three part series entitled, “Exploring the History and Legacy of Slavery in Indiana and Jennings County.” Livers is a member of the Madison Collective for Preserving Black Heritage and participates in Black History Month activities and Juneteenth Celebrations.
Bring a covered dish and enjoy an afternoon of great food and history. The event is free to the public.
