The Jennings County Historical Society will hold a program celebrating March Madness. Donna Sullivan, Past President of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, will talk about the history of basketball in Jennings County on March 8 at 3 p.m. at the Vernon Gym in Vernon, Ind.

Donna will focus on Jennings County in the Hall of Fame, including the Black Diamonds from Scipio, but will cover men’s basketball as well. Jennings County has several players on the list of top scorers including Harry Stewart, Danny Brown, Carter Kent, Bob Howe, and Billy Harmon.

Light refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
