Southern Indiana Surgery will have free information sessions with staff members of the Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Health in June.
Sessions will be at the surgery center, 2325 18th St., Suite 220, at 5:30 p.m. June 9 and 23.
The sessions will cover obesity causes, trends and quality of life issues.
To qualify for bariatric surgery, patients must have a body mass index of at least 35 and have significant weight-related conditions, or have a body mass index over 40 without weight-related conditions.
