William Lange McNaughton, 89, of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, formerly of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, died peacefully Monday, June 15, 2015.
He was the beloved husband of 61 years to the late Polly Ann McNaughton; loving father of Ronald Lee (Donna C.) McNaughton and Sue Ann (Lester F.) Qualk; devoted grandfather of Lori Lee (Chris) Matthews, Jennifer Lee McNaughton, Lauren Ashley, Lindsey Ann and Jarrod William Qualk; proud great-grandfather of Christopher and Jacob Matthews; fraternal twin brother of the late Robert Vernon McNaughton; and half brother of Donella McNaughton of Italy.
William served during World War II with the United States Navy. He retired after 30 years of employment with ALCOA. Bill was a longtime active member of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Pleasant Hills Masonic Guthrie Lodge No. 509 and a past president of Pleasant Hills Lions Club.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church.
