Dorothy Theresa Chisman, 94, of Columbus, died Monday, September 14, 2015, in her home. She was born on April 20, 1921.
She is survived by her children, William, Mary and Jane; grandchildren, Michael, Katelyn, William and Angel; great-grandchild, Katie; and sons-in-law, Larry and Blake.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy; her husband of 63 years, William; her parents; and one brother and one sister.
Dorothy attended St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and had worked as a secretary for a title company in Texas for many years.
A prayer service for Dorothy will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl St. with Father Andy Syberg officiating. Calling will be from 1 p.m. until service time. In keeping with Dorothy’s wishes, cremation with private inurnment will take place.
