Musical trio presenting anti-bullying message

Musical group Time For Three, in Columbus for a pair of pop and classical concerts Thursday and Saturday, will make anti-bullying presentations at two local schools.

The three members who perform worldwide will speak at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Central Middle School, 725 Seventh St. in Columbus. Some St. Peter’s Lutheran School students will be part of those presentations. Members also will speak at 2:15 p.m. Friday at Columbus North High School, 1400 25th St.

The Columbus Indiana Philharmonic’s education program staff has coordinated the presentations. The orchestra’s Vanessa Edwards said the musicians faced some hardships as teens for picking music over sports for their interest and focus.

Time For Three will perform a solo concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at The Commons, 300 Washington St., and at 7:30 p.m. Saturday with the Philharmonic at Judson Erne Auditorium, 1400 25th St. Tickets remain for both concerts.
