East grad named Special Teams Player of Week
Trine kicker Paul Baker has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Special teams Player of the Week.
Baker, a sophomore from Columbus East, executed a perfect onside kick that the Thunder recovered to set up the game-winning touchdown in a 55-51 win against 22nd-ranked Albion. The kickoff specialist also limited the Britons to 22 yards per kickoff return and made one tackle.
