North Vernon
Christine Padgett, 58, of North Vernon, died at 1:16 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon.
She is survived by three daughters, Carrie Ritchie of North Vernon, Patricia Ritchie of Indianapolis and Julie (Christopher) Greer of Shelbyville; three brothers, Ronald Hacker of Butlerville, Steve (Wanda) Hacker of North Vernon and Tony Hacker of Commiskey; two sisters, Margaret Susie (John) Anderson of Scottsburg and Tammy Bowling of Commiskey; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Dale Padgett.
Calling will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Private burial will be at a later date at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Jennings County Public Library.
