Imojean Elizabeth McElroy, 81, of Columbus, died at 7:58 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Imojean was a homemaker and a member of Peppertown Baptist Church in Alabama.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Marvin Brown officiating.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon to time of service Wednesday.
Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.

Born in Lexington, Kentucky, April 27, 1934, Mrs. McElroy was the daughter of Chestley and Maudie Jones East.
Survivors include her children, Mike McElroy of Seymour, Marshall (Patricia Ann) McElroy of Hope, Gary (Barbara) McElroy of Columbus, Jeff McElroy of Columbus and Sharon McElroy of Columbus; brothers, Dwayne East of Columbus, Kenneth East and Danny East, both of Alabama; sisters, Joyce (Freeman) Wilson of Alabama, Betty (Louis) Byrd of Alabama, Norabee (Bud) Pennington of Edinburgh and Faye East of Alabama; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carlos Ray McElroy, on March 7, 2003; two brothers; and two sisters.
