Larry Gene Scrogham, 62, of Columbus, died at 4:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 05, 2015, at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford. He had been ill for about a year and half. He was of the Baptist faith. Larry was retired from Cosco and had also worked at Bradford Soap. He lived and loved the country life.
Mr. Scrogham was born August 15, 1953, in Columbus to Everett L. Scrogham and Rae Gene Robertson Scrogham of Medora. Other survivors include four children, Patricia Scrogham of Columbus, Amy Scrogham of Louisville, Kentucky, Troy Scrogham of Columbus and Robert Scrogham of Columbus; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Terry Scrogham; four sisters, Stacie Madden of Freetown, Sharon Thompson of Edinburgh, Beverly Moore of Brown County and Donna Lee of Medora.
Preceding him in death is a granddaughter, Shelby Boggs.
Memorial services for Larry will be at a later date.
Memorials may be given to Diabetes Foundation or to the Stonebridge Health Campus.
