• the very nice gentleman who jumped my car Sunday night at Kroger when it was frigidly cold.

• Jay at Advantage Heating and Air Conditioning for coming over right away and fixing my furnace when it stopped working Sunday evening, from Carolyn T.

• the nice couple who helped an elderly man who fell in front of Kroger on Saturday.

• the two ladies at the grocery store who helped me pay for a few grocery items, as I really appreciate it.

• coworkers on other shifts for not unloading trucks that arrive on their shift, leaving it for us to do.

• businesses that feel the need to opine about non-discrimination unless you’re a Christian.

• gun control advocates who still refuse to acknowledge that it’s not the guns that are the problem, it’s the criminals and we can’t legislate away criminals.

• the dog owner who leaves their dog outside in a doggy igloo in this cold weather instead of taking the pet inside.

• those who make fun of ugly people when they should take a good look in the mirror.

• those who don’t take care of their animals in this bitter cold weather.

• anyone who thinks guns are a plague on society.

• restaurants that waste food.

• the restaurant that has its music blaring too loud.

• those who do not realize that restaurants that have drive-thru lanes are only slow because they are understaffed and they also have to serve customers inside.

• those who complain about the smaller newspaper when you’re the same as the pink paper complainers.

• people who air their dirty laundry from church in the Onions column, bringing dishonor to God.
