Ryan Timothy Rice, 29, of Columbus, Indiana, entered into his eternal resting place on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016.
Ryan was a construction worker, who specialized in home renovations. He was born March 15, 1986, in Seymour, Indiana. He is the son of Kevin Rice of Brownstown, Indiana, and Cynthia Ryan Rice of Columbus, Indiana. Both parents survive.
Ryan had a kind and gentle soul. He lived his life always helping others and spending time with loved ones. He enjoyed animals, music, movies, computer technology, photography, playing basketball, fishing and learning about United States History.
Other survivors include a sister, Jessica Rice of Jeffersonville, Indiana; paternal grandfather, Jerry Rice, of Seymour, Indiana; paternal step-grandmother, Mary Rice of Seymour, Indiana; foster grandmother, Debbie Cummings of Freetown, Indiana; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, who he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sally Lester Rice; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Ryan.
Funeral services for Ryan Timothy Rice will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 2nd at WinklepleckâWeesner Funeral Home in Brownstown, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until time of services. A graveside memorial ceremony and life celebration will be at Houston Cemetery at a later date for friends and family.
Memorials may be given to the Houston Christian Church or Jackson County Humane Society.
