In an effort to teach younger schoolchildren how to take better care of their hearts, Bartholomew County Hospital donated “Getting to Know Your Heart” educational kits designed by the American Heart Association for use in area classrooms.

The Downtown Exchange Club of Columbus mailed 750 letters to individuals, organizations, industry and businesses asking for donations for the construction of a new Bartholomew County Children’s Home.
