Mr. Gayle Lee Richards, 72, of Madison, died at 11:45 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2016, at the Water’s of Clifty Falls in Madison.
Mr. Richards is survived by his wife of nearly 28 years, Mary Jo Benfield Richards of Madison; two daughters, Tina (Gregg) Leas of Lexington, Indiana, and Cate (Doug) Burton of Lexington, Kentucky; son, Roy (Becky) Richards of Vevay; step-daughter, Kim Kelley of Madison, Indiana; sister, Becky (John) James of North Vernon; brother, Robert “Bob” Richards of Vevay; sister-in-law, Vonda Richards of Madison; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ross Allen Richards.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Pastor Ron Walker will be officiating. Interment will be in Vevay Cemetery in Vevay, Indiana. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.
The family requests memorials in memory of Gayle go to the Alzheimer’s Research.
