Alice Irene Glick Rutan, 95, of Columbus, passed from this life at 11:58 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Alice retired from Columbus Regional Hospital’s Central Processing Department.
She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and Columbus Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor David Blystone officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to time of service Friday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mrs. Rutan was born in Bartholomew County September 27, 1920, the daughter of Rev. Harry and Helen Lawyer Glick.
She married Lawrence P. Rutan December 24, 1945. He preceded her in death March 8, 1974.
Survivors include her children, Paul E. Rutan of Columbus, Sharon K. (Mike) Hankins of Crawfordsville and Floyd K. (Cindy) Rutan of Brentwood, Tennessee; a sister, Gladys Simmons of Columbus; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Phyllis M. Powell; a sister, Ruth G. Glick; and a brother, Edward Glick.
