East student competing for Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen

A Columbus East High School student will compete for Miss Indiana’s Outstanding Teen 2016.

Delaney Jackson, 16, of Columbus, is Miss Banks of the Wabash Outstanding Teen.

Starting Sunday in Zionsville, the competitions begin for the Miss Indiana Scholarship Pageant and for Miss Indiana Outstanding Teen 2016.

The finals are set for 6 p.m. June 18.

Fans, friends and family can help ensure their favorite contestant secures a spot in the finals by voting for her at missindianapageant.com/peopleschoice.html. Only the top 10 contestants in each category, plus the People’s Choice winners, will compete for the titles on finals night.

Each vote cost $1, which is donated to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals as well as the Miss Indiana Scholarship fund.
