Margaret A. “Maggie” Ferguson, 73, of Clifford, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016, at her home.

Before retirement, she worked at Como Plastics for over 38 years.

Margaret attended St. Louis Crossing Independent Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching sports, reading books and writing poems.

The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Tim Dillingham officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service on Thursday. Cremation is planned following the service. The cremated remains will be buried at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to Norman Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Born March 4, 1943, in Bartholomew County, Margaret was the daughter of John Riley and Toiley Alice Baxter Ferguson.

Survivors include sisters, Millie (Billy) Bohannon of Clifford, Carolyn Pennington of Clifford and Connie Richardson of Bloomington; nieces, Brenda (Gary) Phillips of Clifford, Becky (Roger) Turpen of Greenville, Indiana, and Raven (Rusty Jones) Richardson of Bloomington; nephews, Brent (Lori) Pennington of Foley, Alabama, Chad Pennington of Columbus, Josh (Lisa) Pennington of Columbus, Jamie (Vicki) Pennington of Edinburgh and Glenn Richardson Jr. of Bloomington; great-nieces and nephews, Ranae (Scott)  Grider, Terry (Bri) Phillips, Kayla, Devon and Jaden Turpen, Breyhana and Brent Jr Pennington, Sully Pennington, Corbin Jones, Jayla Vincent and Jordan Briner.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Glenn Richardson Sr.; and nephew, Troy Richardson.
